ShowBox App Common Errors and Solutions

Recently, it has come to our attention that our dear users are experiencing some slight difficulty accessing our site and using our app. We have consulted with some of our customers and have been able to pin-point the precise problems. Since we have a ton of customer messages to go through, it might take us a while to get back to you, so we thought that we would enable our users to fix them.

Common Error and Fix

If a particular movie cannot be played on the app, chances are that the file has become corrupted. Downloading it again can help. Also, when the server is under maintenance, you will temporarily be unable to use Showbox.


  • There are many users who face problem with the Showbox, they say that they receive a message “server is not working”. In that case, download another version or start the download from the beginning by cancelling the last one.
  • Check the download progress just like you do after you press Install.
  • You can set the quality and resolution of the movies and other videos according to your needs.


  • Again make sure you have the latest version of Showbox to run the app smooth..
  • Make sure you have a working Internet connection.
  • Uninstall and install the app again.


  • Make sure you have the latest version of Showbox.
  • Make sure your ISP is not blocking your steam.
